In one year I visited several new countries and regions, and even the familiar Egypt and Turkey opened up from a completely new side. Every trip is a chain of insights: Turkey gave me sailing. Nothing bonds people like travelling together and the emotions you live through as a crew. Every tour is accompanied by Nikita, a hugely talented photographer, so I already have hundreds of stunning photos.
I cannot help sharing the feelings I had on the regatta with Travel Business Club and 3Parusa Yacht Travel. It was my first time, so I worried about seasickness, but it turned out far easier than I feared. Our captain Stas ran the briefing and two catamarans set off. Every day brought stunning sunrises, lagoons and unbelievable sunsets. The greatest treasure were the people I spent seven days at sea with. This is the trip where I found my people and the man I love.
I love everything about the sea, and this was the case where reality exceeded every expectation. The cabins are like hotel rooms, just more compact, with a private bathroom for each one. The galley has fridges, a stove and all the cookware you need. Then seven days of pure bliss: towns and bays of unreal beauty, dinners in local restaurants and cooked by ourselves, outdoors 24/7 in swimsuits and barefoot.
