Why a catamaran is the right choice for the sensitive
A catamaran stands on two hulls and doesn't heel like a monohull. At anchor in a bay there is no rolling at all — you sleep like in a hotel. Motion only happens on passage in waves.
How we plan the route
The secret is simple: passages of 2-4 hours, not a day in open water. We spend more time anchored, swimming and sunbathing than sailing. For sensitive guests we pick the calmest sheltered waters — Fethiye, Göcek, the Saronic Gulf.
What actually works
- Tablets (dimenhydrinate and similar) 30-40 minutes before a passage;
- acupressure wristbands — work for many;
- watch the horizon, stay in fresh air, don't sit in the cabin underway;
- ginger, citrus — and yes, rum at sunset has never been cancelled 🙂 (in moderation).
Still unsure? Message me — we'll pick a route where it barely rocks at all.
